Traditional Tokyo pachinko parlours are famous for their deafening wall of sound. While exhilarating for seasoned locals, excessive acoustic pressure can cause rapid sensory fatigue for international visitors.

At Steel Ball Club Perth, our acoustic architects utilized parametric directional speakers and triple-glazed studio isolation baffles to isolate individual cabinet audio down to a comfortable 68-74 dB range.

By tuning ambient background reverberation to natural 432 Hz harmonics and lining ball catch trays with micro-acoustic felt, we preserve the iconic clinking cascade while protecting player hearing.
